3F Ranch manages over 17,000 acres of property across West and Northwest Texas.  We lease ranches in Sterling City, San Angelo,  Paint Rock, 

Robert Lee, Brownfield, Snyder, and are continuing to acquire more.

Below are the package and individual hunts that we offer:

$350/person per day - 4 hunter minimum

Your dogs are welcome.

Additional $200/party per day for the use of our quality dogs.  Guides are provided.

Lodging and food can be arranged for an additional cost.

Hunters are allowed one buck per hunter. This instills self management.
- Maximum allowed harvest is 1 buck per 300 acres based on total acreage.
- Our hunters are encouraged to take the maximum allowed does until our optimum buck to doe ratio is achieved.

The 3F Ranch deer program is designed to maximize the quality of whitetails under low fence. We have incorporated protein feeding along with proper livestock management to maintain a good deer, quail and turkey habitat.

All individuals hunting on our ranches are following the same management guidelines. These Ranches as of 2007 are under MLD Level 3 or are in the process of becoming MLD qualified with the parks and wildlife department.

As deer hunting has become another income to ranching, we strive to learn more about whitetail deer and how to manage them in order to produce bigger and better quality deer.

Turkey

Spring turkey hunts are $800/person for 3 day hunt (2 Toms) in scenic Concho County.  This includes unguided hunts.  Guided hunts are available at $1,200 per person. 

This includes coming in Thursday night and hunting Friday morning thru Sunday evening. 

Full kitchen facilities and a 3 bedroom lodge will be furnished.

March Ranch

(currently leased)

The March Ranch is available for Deer Lease this season (2008). This is an awesome deer hunting ranch. The ranch has been well managed for livestock, and offers good cover for deer. The Ranch is located in Southern Coke County. The ranch has an excellent cover for deer. This ranch is located in a prime area that offers a great opportunity for raising awesome whitetail. The ranch will be under a management program, and a MLD permit will be requested next year. the ranch is currently undergoing changes in the deer program.

There has not been a deer program in the past on this ranch. This year will be the first year for the program. The program that will be implemented will designed with the Parks and Wildlife Biologist. The goal is to maximize the whitetail potential to it's fullest. We believe that within a few years 140 to 160 deer will be consistently harvested off this ranch. The current deer herd is healthy, but there are too many does. The buck deer are for the majority an immature herd. There are some mature deer, but not the numbers that which there should be.

We are looking for a group of hunters (approx) that will be interested in a long term lease that will be willing to adhere to a sound management program, that will grow the deer herd to their fullest potential. the lease comes with 2 hunting cabins and a cook house. These cabins are in need of cleaning and upgrades, but will be able to accommodate hunters this year. The lease also comes with 22 blinds and feeders. The blinds and feeders are in good condition.

We will maintain the blinds and feeders and the hunters will provide corn and protein feed. This lease is priced at $5.00 per acre. There will be a contract written, and the terms of the contract and future price structure and length of term will be negotiated at the time of contract this year.

The March Ranch is also available for Quail lease. This Lease will begin after deer season. This ranch has an excellent cover for quail. The ranch has a heavy to moderate cover of mesquite and cedar. The ranch has a flowing creek that runs threw the middle of the ranch. It has a rough terrain, and a great cover of weeds and grass. This ranch can be described as very scenic and rolling.

The population of quail is recovering from the 2006 drought. I would rate this ranch as a 2 or 3 on population density, with a great opportunity for continued population growth. This ranch is available with 2 hunting cabins. The price for this lease is $1.25 per acre.

Weather Rock Ranch

Weather Rock is a 1200 acre “low-fenced” ranch located in the scenic hills of west central Texas.  The ranch consistently produces trophy whitetails and large Rio turkeys.  Weather Rock has been awarded a Level 3 MLD permit through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

The ranch is on an aggressive management program. This program consists of 20% protein, fed year round, corn and an abundance of water and natural cover.  Bucks that do not meet our criteria are harvested as necessary, along with does.
We offer only four trophy deer hunts and four spring turkey hunts each season.  The deer hunt allows the harvest of one mature buck plus does.  Varmints are also included in your hunt.  Two mature gobblers are permitted each hunter during spring turkey season.

Our hunters are lodged in the new 2700 square foot log home, complete with hot tub, satellite and flat screen TV.  Three hot meals plus snacks are offered each day. This is a non-smoking lodge.  Alcohol is allowed at the conclusion of the evening hunt.   

Hunts are conducted out of new elevated Atascosa deer blinds with one on one guide service.  We also offer horn rattling and spot and stalk hunting.

3F Ranch requires a 50% deposit on all hunts after confirmation.

Deposit is due within 10 days of confirmation.

If cancelled 3 weeks prior to hunt, deposit will be forwarded to another date.

Inclement weather does not qualify for rescheduled hunt.
